Job description: 

1 Generate new product ideas by analysing ingredients, recipes and additives
2 Looking at ways to modify and improve existing recipes
3 Monitoring the use of additives, testing, examining samples and writing reports
4 Identifying and choosing products from suppliers
5 Looking at different ideas designing processes and machinery for the production of recipes on a large scale
6 Maintain technical process documents
7 Work on packaging solutions
8 Coordinate with internal and external teams, cross-functional teamwork between marketing, R&D and quality as a food technologist
9 Ensuring that strict hygiene food safety standards are met

Required Knowledge: 

1 You have excellent written and oral communication skills (intermediate or fluent in English (can read, write and well-spoken for day-to-day business)
2 You are confident and able to work independently
3 You have strong analytical and numerical skills
4 You have meticulous attention to detail, especially with regard to food and hygiene
5 You are good at team working abilities
6 You are willing to travel if necessary
