Molecular biology and biochemistry are subject areas that underpin all of our programmes within the School of Biosciences and Medicine. Therefore, the post holder is expected to complement our existing strengths in these areas and to be able to collaborate with colleagues across the School of Biosciences and Medicine, the wider Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences to deliver the best possible learning experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. This post represents part of our planned future growth and development as a School. If you are a dynamic, forward thinking team player with a ‘can do’ attitude and an ambition to achieve personally then please get in touch. Successful applicants will have a PhD in a relevant subject and bring a record of achievement in scholarship. They will take pride in providing high quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, working to improve methods of delivery and assessment by exploring, contributing to the development of, and embracing new approaches to pedagogy.
