FooD-STA Centre Italy - Italian

Finalità ed attività

Nell'ambito del progetto EuFooD-STA, l'Università di Teramo (UNITE) e Federalimentare sono le entità responsabili della sede locale italiana della piattaforma virtuale (Hub) FOOD-STA. Obiettivi della piattaforma italiana FooD-STA Centre Italy sono:

  • Sviluppare una rete di attori e portatori di interesse nell’ambito delle produzioni agro-alimentari (università, studenti, piccole e medie imprese, aziende, associazioni, ecc) per sostenere la loro interazione e collaborazione nelle attività di Alta Formazione scientifica, tecnologica e professionale a livello nazionale ed internazionale in linea con le più attuali esigenze di conoscenza e di competenze professionali;
  • Supportare la collaborazione tra industria e mondo accademico del settore agro-alimentare (B2U-Business to University- e U2B -Università to Business-) per lo sviluppo di attività congiunte nella formazione di studenti, laureati, docenti, professionisti, formatori ed operatori dell‘industria;
  • Creare e mantenere aggiornata una piattaforma virtuale di notizie e informazioni su argomenti di comune interesse nell’ambito della formazione (ad es. bandi per borse di studio, disponibilità tirocini in azienda, offerte di lavoro, eventi e seminari) , varie informazioni e materiali di disseminazione (ad es. volantini, opuscoli, video, etc.) aperta ai portatori di interesse e a tutti gli interessati;
  • Raccogliere le necessità ed esigenze di formazione delle aziende del settore alimentare in Italia e sviluppare le relative attività formative con coinvolgimento del partnernariato italiano e degli altri centri locali FOODSTA a livello europeo.
  • Promuovere il progetto Erasmus+ KA EuFooD-STA a tutti i portatori di interesse ed attori con particolare riferimento alle aziende agro-alimentari e le università in Italia

La sede locale italiana è in contatto diretto e continuo con la piattaforma centrale FOODSTA che ha sede in Germania presso l’Università di Hohenheim, al fine di favorire lo scambio e l’aggiornamento continuo delle informazioni e attività tra le varie piattaforme nazionali o multi-regione all'interno del progetto. La sede italiana della piattaforma FooD-STA centre Italy sarà attiva in Italia nel coinvolgimento del mondo accademico, nonché di esperti, professionisti e personale operante nelle industrie ed in altri ambiti della filiera produttiva per lo sviluppo congiunto di attività formative post-laurea, la progettazione dei percorsi e programmi di studio e di formazione certificati per le aziende e personale universitario. La registrazione alla piattaforma FooD-STA Italy è gratuita ed aperta a tutti gli interessati e a coloro che avranno il piacere di condividere gli obiettivi e contribuire alle attività del progetto.

Objectives and activities

Within the EuFooD-STA project, the University of Teramo (UniTE) and Federalimentare are the domiciled joint entities responsible of the FooD-STA Centre Italy. Objectives of the FooD-STA Centre Italy:

  • To develop a network of Italian stakeholders (academia, students, SMEs, companies, etc.) in the food sector and to support their interaction and collaboration in training and educational activities at national and international level in agreement with the current needs of knowledge and skills and required modern professional competences
  • To support the collaboration between industry and academia in the Italian food sector (B2U-Business to University and U2B- University to Business) in the development of joint Higher Education and training activities
  • To establish and keep updated an information online platform for Italian stakeholders with information on traineeship, grants and job offers, news, relevant events and info-material (e.g. flyers, brochures, videos, etc.)
  • To promote EuFooD-STA project to the Italian industry and academia.
  • To collect training and educational needs/demands of companies of the food sector in Italy and process them into activities to be developed in collaboration with the Italian FOODSTA hub partners as well as partners of the other national FOODSTA hubs.

With the direct and continuous contact to Italian stakeholders, the FooD-STA Centre Italy will ensure the ongoing exchange and updating of processes within the project. The FooD-STA Centre Italy will mobilise academia as well as industry personnel in Italy for CPD training, study programmes design and certification schemes for companies and university staff.
The Italian local hub is open free of charge to all Italian stakeholders of the in the food sector interested to share the objectives and to contribute to the activities of the FOODSTA virtual platform.
